Study presentation. In search of a New Momentum for EU policy with its close neighbours: comparing the Western Balkans and three Eastern European associated states

Both the enlargement and neighbourhood policies are at best stagnating. The perceived incentives for reforms in line with European norms and values are too weak or uncertain. In this respect, there is a need for a new momentum for the European integration of Eastern European associated states, including Ukraine.

Thus, we would like to invite you to the presentation of a comparative study on a converging progress made among the Western Balkan and Eastern Partnership EU associated countriesthat was conducted by CEPS by encouragement of MEP Andrius Kubilius.

The presentation is organised by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER), and will take place online on April 22, 15:00-16:30 (local time).

The discussion will focus on the innovative ideas and expert recommendations on EU policy that should accelerate the European integration of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova given the absence of a clear membership perspective on the side of the EU.
