The EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform (CSP) is one of the bodies set up under the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine.
The CSP enables civil society organisations from both sides to monitor the implementation process from the point of view of civil society, and prepare its recommendations to the relevant authorities.
The CSP is made up of members representing the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and Ukrainian civil society. The 8th meeting of the CSP was co-chaired by Viacheslav Roi, Chairman of the Ukrainian Federation of Trade Unions of Workers in SMEs, and Lukáš Curylo, member of the EESC and director of Caritas Czech Republic.
The CSP members discussed the progress made in implementing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, and adopted reports on the transport component of the Association Agreement and on the integration of Ukraine into the European Union's Digital Single Market.
