6th EU-Ukraine Association Council: results
The Association Council reviewed the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and developments related to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
After the Association Council, a press statement was issued.
In particular, the European Commission confirmed that Ukraine has fulfilled all the twelve necessary conditions to receive the 2nd tranche of the 4th EU macro-financial assistance program worth EUR 500 mln. At the same time, the disbursement will take place as soon as the conditions for the IMF programme are completed by Ukraine.
Moreover, the EU and Ukraine signed an agreement on support to agriculture and small farm development of €26 million.
Also, Ukraine proposed to kick off a dialogue on the development of a common roadmap within the framework of the European Green Deal.
