Conference (Brussels, September 20): "Understanding the EU’s three Association Agreements and DCFTAs with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine"

Date and time: 20 September 2016, Tuesday, 09:30-17:15.
Location: CEPS,1, Place du Congrès, Brussels.

CEPS is currently leading a project with partner institutes in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine aimed at explaining the political, economic and legal content on the EU’s new model of Association Agreements, including Deep and Comprehensive Free trade Areas (DCFTAs), with some of its closest neighbours. These agreements are extremely complex and need explaining. The first outputs of this project are three book-length Handbooks, accompanied by separate Short Guides.

The conference will be the occasion for an in-depth debate of the findings of the publication, with the participation of senior diplomats and officials, the authors of the publications and other independent experts.

The Project is supported by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida).
